How To fold A Pocket Square

If you're not wearing a pocket square, you're not dressed. Exactly how you wear one has a lot to do with your personality. Here are three ways you can try one on.
The Dandy: It's the ultimate in flamboyance.

1. Pick up the square in its center with the thumb and forefinger of one hand so that the square's four "points" fall as shown.

2. With your hand, "caress" the square to hold the points.

3. Fold the end of the square that's between your thumb and forefinger up toward the points.

4. Finish the fold by adjusting the points and the folded end (the "puff") into the final square.

5. Once you have the folded square in your jacket pocket, plat with it to create three points and a puff, positioning it as far in or out as you like - depending on how much of a dandy you want to be.

The Point Man: For the guy who wants the pocket square to make a point, but subtly...

The Architect: The look is controlled and focused, a no fuss, clean, and discreet presentation. It's also the simplest. (Secret for success: Iron the heck out of the square!)
1. Fold the square in half. Make sure the edges stay together. 2. Starting with one end, fold a third of the square toward the center. 3. Fold the third of the square on the opposite end toward the center. 4. Fold the resulting square almost in half, leaving a slight edge at the top. 5. Once you've for the square in the pocket, you can adjust it depending on how much you want to show.
